Mild take – as Dodgers stadium has embraced the Michelado experience over the years, I’ve personally, and I’m sure many of you will agree/disagree, felt that the overall Chavez Ravine experience has been less enjoyable.
I’ve accepted that the stadium is very different than when I started going nearly 30 years ago. However, the one thing that has been frustrating to me is the lack of etiquette from other fans. Whether it’s throwing peanut shells off the lodge level, constant curse words around the kids, or the people coming back to their seats with bases loaded and two outs leaves a lot to be desired.
Personally, I think there should be one section on each level where they treat it similar to NHL games. If you get up in the middle of the inning, you won’t be let in until the next half inning when they’re warming up. I’m sick of paying hundreds of dollars for the view to constantly be interrupted. I’m not saying the entire stadium needs to follow these rules, but have a section for the people who want to be able to watch the game without constant obstructions. Curious if others have similar frustrations.
