Sky News host James Macpherson has reacted to Melbourne City Council using $10 million of pandemic recovery money to deliver 40 kilometres of bike lanes in the CBD.

“The money … was meant to help small businesses by kickstarting the city economy,” Mr Macpherson said.

“Bike lanes are not going to help revive the city centre.

“If you’re a Victorian businessperson, it’s just one hit after another.”
