‘A shell of himself’: Joe Biden’s final weeks in office dubbed ‘most depressing period’
Unherd newsroom editor James Billot criticises the final weeks of Joe Biden’s presidency, describing the period as "depressing" and condemning the administration’s handling of events during that time.
“The lame duck period of his presidency … has been one of the most depressing periods in modern American history,” Mr Billot said.
“The man has become a shell of himself.
“The last two years the wheels really came off and it’s almost as if he just threw in the towel after that Trump loss.
“He was incredibly angered about the fact that he was basically pushed aside by his own party in place of Kamala Harris and I think that really showed in his final few weeks as president.”
