The Queensland government is facing a multi-billion dollar black hole to fund four athlete villages for the 2032 Olympic Games.
It is expected to cost $3.5 billion to build the facilities, which will be established in Brisbane, Kooralbyn, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.
The cost is the equivalent of constructing a new stadium for the games.
The LNP claims the previous state government allocated $155 million for the plan, which is less than one per cent of the projected cost.
