One Nation Chief of Staff James Ashby has criticised the Greens for demanding a seat on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s cabinet if he is re-elected.

“Typically when you are in the cabinet you’re not to go against the government which I find extraordinary if the Greens didn’t have their say in that scenario and cause upheaval for a Labor government, a second term one,” Mr Ashby told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen.”
