Former US national security advisor Robert O’Brien claims the AUKUS pact is “very safe” under US President Donald Trump in his second presidency.

“President Trump had a great relationship with Scomo, Scott Morrison; he brought Scott Morrison here for a state visit; I was at the dinner; it was amazing,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“The relationship between the President and Australia is strong.

“The American-Australian relationship is rock solid, and AUKUS is going to be rock solid as well.”
