Former speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop has hit out at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s “pathetic” performance today.

“The Prime Minister’s performance today was pathetic; I mean, truly, it was cringeworthy,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“When you start to hear him try to push away the responsibility for what is happening in this country because of his poor leadership on antisemitism and trying to say it’s foreign actors.

“It’s just unbelievable.”
