US President Donald Trump has pardoned 23 anti-abortion campaigners when he signed a series of new executive orders on Friday.

The newly sworn in President claims the protesters were peaceful and unfairly imprisoned under the Biden administration.

Mr Trump said the group of people “should not have been prosecuted”.

His administration says the order was strategically planned to coincide with tomorrow’s ‘March for Life’ rally held annually in Washington DC.
