‘New dawn in the US’: Douglas Murray recounts experience at Trump’s inauguration
Author Douglas Murray details his experience attending the “historic” second inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States.
Trump, who has vowed to slash regulation and taxes, usher in cryptocurrency-friendly policies and impose tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico, has rocked global markets since his massive election win in November.
“It was extraordinary to see the president’s inauguration, the excitement in Washington, the extraordinary cast of characters who were around in the city to see it,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“It really did feel like a new dawn in the US.”
