Trump awaiting ‘political brouhaha’ with Republicans over TikTok ban
Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney discusses the issue that is going to be “front and centre” for Donald Trump heading into office.
Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, declaring in his inauguration speech to sign a series of executive orders, speaking on issues such as energy, gender and the failed attempt on his life.
Mr Trump announced TikTok operations will return to the US after briefly being banned.
“There are many Republicans who voted for that law who are adamant that TikTok needs to be shut down,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News Australia.
“He is going to end up with a political brouhaha in his first days in office.”
